POLICE in North Swindon carried out three simultaneous drugs raids around Moredon Park on Tuesday after a tip off.

The three properties were hit at the same time, shortly before 9am, officers making extensive searches.

No arrests were made at the scenes and, while no illegal drugs were found, items were seized.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Three drugs warrants were carried out on three separate properties in Moredon Park at 8.52am on Tuesday morning.

“A number of officers carried out simultaneous searches. No arrests were made. Some private property was seized, but no illegal drugs were found.”

Officers are encouraging anyone with information about drugs in their area to contact Wiltshire Police through the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A spokesman said: “We have carried out three drug warrants in the area thanks to information given to us by the local community.

“Are you aware of any other addresses we should be visiting? (We’ll bring our own key).”
