TRAFFIC congestion was reported at several places in Wiltshire this morning, including southbound on the A419 between Marlborough Road, Swindon, and Junction 15 of the M4.

Queues died down before 9.30am but a collison between a car and a pedestrian in Greenway Avenue, Chippenham, at the B4158 Malmesbury Road junction this afternoon caused delays with the road being partially blocked in both directions.

Thamesdown Transport again had to divert its services 13 and 14 in Swindon via the Outlet Centre, Penzance Drive and Paddington Drive due to congestion around the roadworks at Bruce Street Bridges.

After a damp start, particularly in the south, a cloudy day with sunny spells this afternoon is expected.

The top temperature will be about 16C with a north-westery breeze of up to 15mph.
