A DATE has been set for the funeral of 11-year-old Daniel Climance, who died after colliding with a road sweeper in Purton earlier this month.
The service is due to begin at 1.45pm on Friday, July 3 at St Mary’s Church, Purton, followed by private family blessing and burial at 3pm.
All family and friends are welcome after the service to the Red House Club, Purton, which will open to mourners from 2.30pm.
Parking is available at the Red House Club prior to and after the service. Family flowers only are requested.
Those wishing to make a donation in Daniel’s memory can contribute to the family’s chosen charities: Muscular Dystrophy UK, Smash Youth Project and Friends of Bridlewood School via Co-Operative Funeral Care, Cricklade Road, Swindon.
A collection box will also be available on the day and the family would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support during this difficult time.
Daniel died after a collision in the village on June 10.
