THE Wessex Male Choir will once again be performing their summer concert at Steam.

The Swindon-based choir will perform at the museum of the Great Western Railway in Firefly Avenue from 7.30pm on Saturday, July 25.

Doors open at 6.30pm for pre-concert refreshments, and the concert venue doors open at 7pm.

Parking is free in the main car park and there are facilities nearby for disabled parking.

“The choir will be in top form, singing some of their well-known songs, as well as new material,” said a choir spokesman.

“One of the new numbers, Gee Officer Krupke from West Side Story, will see them acting like a bunch of juvenile delinquents with their guests MJ-UK Music And Arts. It is sure to be great fun.”

He said tickets to the concert are going fast, so anyone who wants to see the choir, along with MJ-UK Music and Arts and the trio Breeze, should pick up tickets from the Steam information office or the Swindon Central Library information desk.

They can be reserved by email to tickets@wessexmalechoir.co.uk or online at wessexmalechoir.co.uk Tickets cost £12. Under 16s will be admitted free but must have a ticket to be sure of a seat.

The choir is also keen to welcome new voices, who can get in touch with the membership secretary via membership@wessexmalechoir.co.uk
