AWARD-winning bands Clean Bandit and Temples will headline Truck Festival this weekend – and with a host of huge names joining the line-up they will be in good company.

Clean Bandit’s rapid rise to fame has seen the quartet bag a Grammy for their hit Rather Be. They are now doing the festival rounds and preparing to enthral the crowds with their brand of polished electro-pop.

Temples promise to bring a slice of psychedelia to proceedings. The band has previously supported none other than The Rolling Stones and Brett Anderson personally invited them to tour with Suede.

The heady mix of rock, samples, spoken word and synths that is Public Service Broadcasting, and ‘super headliners’ Basement Jaxx and The Charlatans will also be joining the bill.

As the festival stretches its musical offering further dance music will be given due play with The Truck x Switch stage, boasting a headline set from Shy FX, one of drum n’ bass’s major players. Elsewhere Truck’s decks will be spinning courtesy of Black Butter Records’ My Nu Leng, MOBO Award-winning garage duo DJ Luck & MC Neat, bass music two-piece GotSome and Switch resident DJs.

Next to step up to the Truck stages will be Liverpudlian trio All We Are, indie-pop outfit Dog Is Dead, swaggering rockers The Bohicas, husband and wife duo Summer Camp, Australian trio DMA’s and a young Essex singer Rat Boy.

The Magic Gang, Neon Waltz, singer/songwriter Jake Isaac and up-and-coming indie act New Desert Blues will complete the line-up.

Truck will open tomorrow, July 17 and run until Saturday 18.
