SWINDON Supermarine continued their preparations for the start of the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West campaign next weekend with a 4-0 friendly success over Hellenic League Royal Wootton Bassett Town on Saturday.
Dave Webb’s men took command early, Jacob Davidge netting on 12 minutes and Bradley Gray adding a second six minutes later.
It stayed that way until the final 20 minutes, Marine striker Connor Waldon turning before finding the bottom corner on 73 minutes. Luke Hopper wrapped up proceedings as he found the top corner with the fourth goal four minutes from time.
Hellenic League Division One West Fairford Town drew 1-1 in both their first and reserve team matches against Wokingham & Emmbrook.
Ryan Hammersley netted in the reserves’ draw before the first team followed, Josh Skeates firing Fairford ahead in the first half before Wokingham levelled before half time.
Elsewhere, Purton were 3-0 winners over Wantage Town.
