A FUNDRAISER plans to walk more than 20 miles to support stillbirth charity Sands.
Terri Craddock will be walking from Calne to Swindon along with friends and family to support the charity, which provides support for bereaved parents and their families.
The 24-year-old has been a keen supporter of the charity in the past having organised a number of family fun days and raffles.
Tomorrow Terri, who lives in Chippenham, and other energetic fundraisers will be leaving the car park of The Bug and Spider pub at 8.30am, following a route via Royal Wootton Bassett to Swindon, and are aiming to finish at the railway station.
Terri said: “It says it will take five hours on Google maps, and we have added another hour for lunch half way in Wootton Bassett.
“I have been training at Spartans Gym in Chippenham – without the guys there I don’t think I would make it.”
Between the team they have already raised around £300 in sponsorship for the cause, and are hoping to collect further sponsorship along the way to help them reach their £500 target.
