BREATHTAKING acrobatic displays to ward off the back to school blues will soon roll into town when Circus Wonderland returns to Swindon after a two-year break.

Organisers say the magical circus is bringing an action packed show that promises to blend side-splitting comedy with daredevil thrills.

Circus Wonderland proved a hit when it last pitched up in Swindon two years ago, and the show is now returning with a new line up of international acts.

Spanish stars Nico and Angelica star in the billing with their dexterous display of whirlwind juggling. Grace Olivia will raise the temperature with her fire flying fiesta, while Hungarian acrobatic Adonis David Adam will perilously perch high in the roof of the Big Top.

Award-winning clowns Kakehole and Mr Popol will be joined by their friend Bertie the Bear for music, magic and mayhem, with a trunk full of tricks and an exploding grand piano to add to the comedy chaos.

Circus Wonderland is appearing next to the Oasis Leisure centre, North Star Avenue, from Wednesday, September 2 until Sunday, September 6.

Acrobats will hit the ropes for performances on weekdays at 4.30pm and 7.30pm, Saturday at 2pm and 5pm, and Sunday at 2pm.
