PASSENGERS using buses on bank holiday Monday are being warned that Thamesdown Transport will be running a Sunday service.

The Sunday service timetable will be in place ahead of a timetable change affecting a number of services from Tuesday.

A spokesman for Thamesdown Transport said: “Services will be running to popular family destinations across Swindon on the Bank Holiday, making it an easy way to get around. Customers looking to spend the day outdoors can use Service 1/1A to get to Lydiard Park or alternatively the STEAM Museum and the Outlet Village is easily reached on Services 1 and 22.

“There is also the free shuttle Service 175, between the town centre and the Designer Outlet Village. All our Services operate into the town centre for those wishing to enjoy the town’s wide range of shops.”

Passengers are also reminded that changes to Thamesdown’s services will begin on Tuesday and to check the website to see if their intended service is affected. Services 12, 16, 18, 22, 46 and 48 will be affected by the changes.

Customers are advised to check timetables, which are available online at www.thamesdownbus.com, displayed on each bus stop or through Traveline before travelling.
