NATHAN Byrne is on the verge of joining Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.
The wide man has been linked with a move away from the County Ground all summer and now, on the eve of transfer deadline day, he appears to on his way to Molineux.
BBC Wiltshire have reported that a deal is being finalised with reports in Wolverhampton suggesting a fee of close to the seven-figure mark has been agreed with the Championship club.
Premier League side Tottenham will receive 50 per cent of any transfer fee for Byrne under the terms of the 23 year old’s move to Town in 2013.
The deal looks to have freed up cash for Town to move on Legia Warsaw forward Henrik Ojamaa, an Estonian international who started his career at Derby County.
Another player on his way out of Swindon is Miles Storey who is on his way to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, a club where he went on trial last January before his loan move to Newport County.
