RESIDENTS of Shrivenham made the most of the sunny weather on Saturday as they enjoyed the village fete.
There were smiles all around as hundreds of people headed to the Recreation Ground for the afternoon where there were a whole host of stalls and activities for all the family.
As well as the cake stall and raffles there was a whole host of other events to keep people entertained.
There was a spectacular performance by the Flyin’ Ryan Motorcycle Display Team, who impressively jumped over a truck, while there was also live music from performers ranging from the Highworth Silver Band to Generations of Sound community choir.
Plenty of activities were put on for youngsters including a fancy dress parade and a number of races.
The fete is one of the biggest events in the Shrivenham calendar and is organised by a committed team of volunteers.
While it is a free, any profit raised from the fete and other events throughout the year is given to local organisations and charities.
