LYDIARD Park is set to play host to a number of free fitness sessions run by British Military Fitness this month.

On September 19 BMF plans to hold a number of sessions designed to get people back into exercise after a summer of holidays.

The company’s research found one in four people in the UK blame their summer holiday for weight gain.

And now the BMF is promising to help people get back into shape with free introductory group fitness sessions.

Harry Sowerby, the managing director of BMF, said: “BMF is all about people coming together and having fun, while getting fit and improving their lifestyles at the same time.

“We really want to motivate those shy of exercise to come down to the parks and give it a go.

“We know how intimidating it can feel to return to exercise, so we wanted to create a weekend where everyone was in the same boat and could re-start their exercise regime together as a group.

“All they need to do is get to the park and we will do the rest.”

Each session lasts for an hour and will include a warm up, cardio and strength training, a cool down and stretches. Visit britmilfit.com/where-we-train/swindon/lydiard-park.
