Three men who were arrested yesterday in connection with the death of Sally Ann John have been released on police bail pending further enquiries, Wiltshire Police have confirmed.
The investigation continues and officers are still appealing for any information regarding the disappearance of Sally Ann.
Sally Ann was 23 years old when she went missing on 8th September 1995 from Swindon.
Searches were carried out at a property in Kimmeridge Close, Nythe, Swindon earlier this week and detectives are currently in the process of analysing several items found.
DCI Jeremy Carter said: “My team have been working tirelessly on this case and following a positive week of activity I am reviewing our progress and planning our next course of action.
“I have received several calls from the public following our recent appeals and I would encourage anyone else who has information to come forward. I will be keeping Sally Ann’s family updated as we go forward with the case and thank the public for their support.”
