Swindon Fire Station is open to senior citizens today
FIREFIGHTERS in Swindon throw the station doors open to senior citizens today to offer advice on home safety.
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue is staging the event at the town's fire station by the Magic Roundabout until 4.20pm and will be putting on a light lunch and free raffle.
The event will feature exhibits from Healthwatch Swindon. Barclays Bank Digital Eagles, Trading Standards and Swindon Borough Council.
They will also be offering electric blanket testing and slipper exchanges. Both of these events need to be booked by appointment by calling 01793 463679.
