POLICE investigating an illegal rave in Lincolnshire during the May Bank Holiday weekend in which officers were hurt believe the culprits could be from Wiltshire.
They still want to speak to a number of people after 21 officers and one police dog suffered injuries during an altercation as they moved in to shut the rave down.
Three officers, two from Derbyshire and one from Lincolnshire required hospital treatment. One officer sustained a fractured wrist.
Thirteen people were charged in relation to the incident and a further six people were cautioned for possession of drugs. Court hearings are pending.
DCI Nikki Mayo, of Lincolnshire Police, said: “The enquiry into this incident is lengthy and complex.
"A team of officers have been tasked with investigating the illegal rave and we are absolutely committed to bringing to justice and putting before the courts all those who engaged in any kind of law-breaking.
"The behaviour of some individuals towards police and witnessed by communities during this incident was abhorrent. It will not be tolerated.”
