BUS operator Stagecoach West are asking people to get in touch and let them know if they’ve made any life-long friendships or relationships from a chance meeting on one of their buses.

Members of the community who use the Stagecoach services are encouraged to contact them with their heart-warming stories of friendships made and love found, and those with the best stories will win a week’s unlimited bus pass within their region.

Rupert Cox, managing director for Stagecoach West, said: "Sometimes, we meet someone completely unexpectedly and out of the blue, and it’s not long until we couldn’t imagine being without them by our side. We’d love to know if anyone has ever met someone special to them on one of our buses. We’ve all seen Sliding Doors and, since Joe got in touch searching for Amanda, it’s got us thinking; has one of our journeys changed someone’s fate? Plus, if you’re an avid user of the bus, it’s a great way to be in with the running for a free week’s bus travel.”

Following a recent approach by a local man trying to get in touch with a woman he had met on board a bus, Stagecoach West are on the hunt for the best stories surrounding people meeting onboard. Whether they soon became your best friend, or you met and fell in love and are still together years later, the company wants to hear from you.

If you have a heart-warming story about a relationship you struck up on a Stagecoach Bus and want to be in with the chance of winning a week’s unlimited bus travel, email your story to the Stagecoach West team on west.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com.
