A MUM who had been due to face trial accused of robbery had the charge dropped after she admitted theft and common assault.
Jessica Dimino, 24, stole a purse and its contents from a woman and also assaulted her on Tuesday, February 3.
Dimino, of Castleton Road, Middleaze, pleaded guilty to theft and common assault and not guilty to robbery.
Philip Warren, prosecuting, said a trial would not be sought.
Sam Arif, defending, said her client had a five-week-old child and also suffered from mental health issues.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Tuesday, November 24, so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report and released her on bail.
