TWO men who are accused of trying to carry out a serious assault are to face trial by judge and jury.
Jack Lyon, 25, and Mattie Lyon, 20, both pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
It is alleged the pair, of Ramsbury Avenue, Penhill, tried to assault John Lamb on Sunday, June 28. Mattie also denied a charge of common assault.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Tuesday, February 16, and released them on bail until then.
