A CAR was written off in a crash on Thamesdown Drive last night.

The silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a black Ford Kuga on the southbound carriageway just before 8pm.

Passengers in both cars sustained minor injuries with the front of the Vauxhall being severely damaged.

A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said:

"We received a call at 7.57pm to reports of a car versus car on Thamesdown Drive. One female passenger  of unknown age was complaining of arm and shoulder pain due to an airbag being deployed. She was treated at the scene."

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should contact PC 2560 Richard Fay on 101.

On Monday night one man was taken to hospital after two cars crashed on Thamesdown Drive, with two young girls and a woman complaining of chest pains being treated at the scene.

Police and the ambulance service were called at around 7.20pm, when a silver Volkswagen Passat and silver Honda Jazz collided.
