TRAFFIC was reported to be delayed after a crash between two cars on the A4312 Oxford Road.
The road was partly blocked with slow traffic eastbound at the B4006 junction.
A police spokesman said: "We received a call from a member of the public at just after midday today to a two-car collision involving a grey Citroen Xsara and a silver Saab.
"The drivers are both from the local area and the ambulance service was called with minor injuries suspected."
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service said those involved were examined but did not need to be taken to hospital for treatment.
- One lane of the on M4 eastbound between Junction 18 for Bath and Junction 17 for Chippenham is closed because of a broken-down vehicle.
