WITH rehearsals in full swing, cast members from the Wyvern Theatre’s pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs took a well-deserved break on Monday evening with a visit to Swindon’s newest leisure complex and pantomime sponsor, Regent Circus.
Cast members swapped the aisles of the Wyvern for those of Morrisons, causing havoc in the supermarket as Team Snow White took on Team Wicked Witch for a trolley race of good vs. evil.
As ever, good prevailed and Team Snow White celebrated their victory with a trip to Cineworld, with the losers coughing up for sweets.
Regent Circus centre manager Steve Bizley was happy to welcome the rowdy bunch.
“It’s our first Christmas at Regent Circus and we are delighted to be sponsoring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at The Wyvern Theatre,” he said.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming theatregoers to Regent Circus over the festive period and it was great to get a very special visit from the cast, even if they did make a bit of a mess!”
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at the Wyvern Theatre from Saturday, December 5, to Sunday, January 3.
