TWO people in a car had a narrow escape after being involved in a crash with a van which saw their car flip over.
The crash happened on Tuesday at around 12.15pm and saw emergency services attend the crash on Wood Lane in Brinkworth.
A spokeswoman for the South Western Ambulance Service said there were two patients trapped in the car, but they were conscious and breathing at the time the emergency call was made. The occupants of the van were not thought to be injured.
She said: “One casualty, a female, had a head injury.
“Both patients were discharged at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.”
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire fire and Rescue Service said fire crews from Westlea and Swindon had attended the crash. She said: “Two people managed to get out of their vehicles without any assistance. One person was medically trapped.”
