POLICE officers raised the alarm after coming across a car on fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters from Stratton arrived at the scene of the fire on the White Hart roundabout shortly before 3.30pm where they found the car to be “well alight”.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crew had used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
