A burglary took place at a new development in Swindon overnight and police are appealing for witnesses to help with their investigation.

Between approximately 5pm on 3 February 2016, and 5.40am on 4 February 2016, offender(s) broke into the Badbury Park site near Coate Water, off Marlborough Road, and stole three Vaillant combi boilers from the Charles Church site.

Attempts were also made to steal appliances from the Redrow Homes site.

PC Jamie Brown said: "It is estimated that the total value of items taken and damaged during this incident is approximately £10,000. The boilers are described as white, with 'Vaillant' written on the front in silver.

"We would like to hear from anybody who may be able to assist us in our investigations, especially any information that might identify a white transit van that was seen in the area at approximately 5.30am this morning."
