A MAN who appeared in court on Monday denied a charge of harassing his mother.
Michael Sheenan, 21, of Raleigh Avenue, denied harassment without violence against his mother Valerie Ryan.
She alleges he persuaded a course of conduct that amounted to harassment between January 23 and February 7 of this year.
Sheenan appeared in custody before magistrates sitting in Swindon on Monday after he was arrested over the weekend for fear he would breach the peace.
Magistrates adjourned the case for trial when Sheenan will appear at Chippenham Magistrates' Court on March 29.
In the meantime he was released on conditional bail and ordered to live and sleep at an address in Salisbury and not to contact his mother or go to her home address.
