A NINE-YEAR-OLD old boy is still in hospital with serious injuries following an incident in the Park North area of Swindon on Saturday afternoon.
Despite considerable police involvement in the hours that followed they have now declared that his injuries are non-suspicious.
Officers were called by paramedics at 5.30pm to a residential address in Albany Close.
The injured boy was taken to Great Western Hospital by ambulance where he is in a serious condition.
Police officers remained at the scene overnight and into the early hours of Sunday afternoon.
Forensic investigators visited the address to assist with the investigation.
On Sunday afternoon, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “After an initial police response it has been determined that there are no suspicious circumstances.
"No arrests have been made."
