THE organisers of a charity concert are hoping punters will let down their hair and rock the night away to raise cash for Prospect Hospice The group behind the Bank Holiday Of Music concert, which is in its fifth year, are pulling out all the stops for the new event which will take place at Aldbourne Memorial Hall.

It will see performances from Swindon rock cover band Shepherds Pie, who are being supported by Raised By Hypocrites.

One of the organisers, Matt Gibbs, said: “It is to celebrate five years of our event the Bank Holiday Of Music which is three nights of live music. That event has so far raised over £4,000 and so we decided to as this is our fifth year, we would do something slightly different to celebrate.”

In previous years they have had acoustic and indie music at the three-day event which they are also planning for later this year.

The rock concert will take place on Saturday, March 26, from 8pm at Aldbourne Memorial Hall. Tickets cost £5 and can be bought from Aldbourne Sports And Social Club or by emailing thepie@hotmail.co.uk.

All the proceeds to Prospect Hospice.
