A teenage girl who stabbed a man in Park North will face trial to decide whether she intended to cause serious harm.
At Swindon Crown Court, Jade Nicholson, 19, admitted unlawfully wounding Peter Gallagher in Dulverton Avenue on Friday, March 11.
But she denied the more serious charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday, July 11, when she will face trial at Salisbury Crown Court.
Nicholson, of Ridge Nether Moor, Liden, was released on bail on condition she lives outside Swindon.
