A group of teenage males were seen attempting to vandalise play equipment in the park on Worsley Road, Freshbrook.
Police received the report at just after 7pm on Saturday, April 23. A police spokesman said: "The group were also seen throwing a brick at the near-by church.
"The males are described as white, aged between 13 and 15 years old. One was wearing a grey top and black jogging bottoms. If you saw or heard anything suspicious in this area, around this time, please call 101."
