A MAN awoke at the end of last week to find some uninvited guests in his back garden.
But despite his best attempts to alert them to his presence, the family of foxes were far from undeterred that Queens Drive resident David Morris was looking on.
In fact, even more members of the family then ambled into his garden to enjoy the morning sunshine – much to his amazement.
Mr Morris luckily had a camera close to hand and was able to capture a few frames of the foxes frolicking in the garden, even drinking from the bird bath.
He said: “I looked out of the kitchen window and saw the mother fox with two cubs suckling on my lawn. I tapped the window and within seconds the father appeared.
“After more tapping on the window, two more foxes appeared which I presume to be the grandparents.
“Obviously they interpreted my tapping on the window as a threat and reinforcements arrived to protect the cubs.
“Thankfully they stayed long enough for me to get the camera ready. I think it's unusual to see a whole family of foxes in the garden during daylight hours.”
