WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses to an arson incident at Mill Lane, Stanton Fitzwarren.
About 150 straw bales were set alight at 6pm on Friday.
A group of six to seven boys, aged 15 to 16, were seen running away from the fire towards Stanton Park once it had been started.
Sergeant Lawrence Copeland said: "We are appealing to this group to come forward and identify themselves.
"Also we would like any other witnesses, who may have seen who started the fire or seen this group of boys anytime between 5pm and 6.30pm in this area to contact me on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
