REALITY TV star Calum Best, ex-TOWIE heartthrob Dan Osborne and presenter Jeff Brazier are among the celebrities heading to Swindon this afternoon.

They will be battling it out at the County Ground pitch as part of a charity football match, organised with radio station Heart, to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise initiative.

Dan Osborne will be captain of the red team, while Calum Best, the son of football legend George Best, will be leading the blue team.

Among the players are X Factor contestants such as Stevi Ritchie and Sam Callahan, Eastenders actors Dean Gaffney, who played Robbie Jackson, Matt Lapinskas, who played Anthony Moon, and Terry Alderton, who was cabbie Terry Spraggan.

Stars from ITV’s dating show Love Island will also be taking part such as Luis Morrison and Josh Ritchie, while Big Brother 2013 winner Sam Evans, James Hill from The Apprentice and former professional footballer Kevin Cooper are getting in on the act too.

Gates open at 6.15pm and kick-off is at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £6 and parking is £5. The meet and greet tickets are sold out.

Calum Best told Heart Wiltshire’s Ben and Mel: “We get to play football and live the dream. I’m thrilled to be playing and it’s a great charity that we’re playing for.”

Presenters Ben and Mel added: “Global’s Make Some Noise is a truly amazing cause and this game promises to be a brilliant event.

“This match is set to be a great way to raise more money for projects across the UK that are struggling to raise awareness.”

This month, Global’s Make Some Noise awarded Wiltshire based charity Hop, Skip and Jump a grant of £42,952 to provide quality respite care for children and young adults with disabilities and special educational needs.
