THE work of three team members at one of Wiltshire’s most respected law firms, Bevirs, has been recognised with their appointments as new associates.

Peter Shah, Rebecca Scammell and Emma Morter have all worked with Bevirs across various areas of law in Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett and the surrounding areas. The company also has a busy office in Calne.

Peter is a solicitor in the dispute resolution team based in the firm’s Swindon office.

He handles a variety of civil cases including disputes arising on someone’s death, contractual disagreements, professional negligence, commercial landlord and tenant issues, property disputes as well as personal injury compensation claims.

Rebecca Scammell is as member of the family department, also based in Swindon, and specialises in cases involving children being taken into care.

She is an experienced court advocate and recently appeared before the President of the Family Division in a high profile High Court case around child care proceedings.

Emma Morter is an experienced chartered legal executive dealing with property sales, purchases and other land transactions and is based in the firm’s Homemove department in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Emma is also currently involved in training several paralegals in the department as part of the firm’s expansion plans.
