Lechlade Memorial Hall ablaze
POLICE have today arrested a boy of 16 in connection with the fire that destroyed the Memorial Hall at Lechlade on May 9.
The boy, who is local, is being interviewed.
Around 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at the community hall and investigators concluded it was arson after the discovery of a burnt out wheelie bin placed next to one of the building’s walls.
