A MAN will appear in crown court next month facing charges of false imprisonment and common assault.
Nicholas Jackson, 43, of Frankel Avenue, Redhouse, appeared before Swindon magistrates on Monday.
It is alleged he unlawfully and injuriously imprisoned a woman and detained her against her will on May 2 and that he assaulted her. He entered no pleas to the charges.
He will next appear at Swindon Crown Court on June 24, but in the meantime he was remanded in custody.
