Set in Victorian gardens in the stunning landscape of the Cranborne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty spread across Dorset and Wiltshire, Larmer Tree Festival is the quintessential party; an intimate
and eccentric festival perfect for first-timers and experienced festival-goers alike.

Joining the musicians and comedians this year from July 13 to July 17 are artists who will be wowing with words, tantalising with talks, and letting you listen to their literary tales in the Poetry, Literature and Talks arenas.

One of the original punk-poets, Dr John Cooper Clarke, will be ready to rock the gardens with his live, uncensored poetry. Kate Adie, infamous former chief news correspondent for the BBC, will divulge fascinating tales from her life and work. World-class performance storyteller Ben Haggarty's will perform his Late Night Tales for Adults  and the epic battle of words, comedians vs poets takes place in Stand Up & Slam!

And for something that's out of this world, Dr Simon Foster's Rocket Science explores the skies above.

There's also an array of literary workshops on offer inclduing Writing and the Body, Writing in Nature, Writing Poetry for Perforamnce,Writing for Publication and Intro to Storytelling.
