A MAN has been arrested in connection with raids on cash machines in Swindon.
The 20-year-old is also being questioned over ATM attacks in Bristol.
A spokesman from Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a number of recent ATM attacks.
"The man, from the Knowle area of Bristol, has been arrested following attacks in Bristol and Swindon.
"He remains in police custody while enquiries continue."
Officers have been investigating a number of raids on cash machines in the area this year, including at the HSBC cashpoint in West Swindon at Delta Office Park branch last month in which the machine was blown up.
