MURDERER Charice Gassman, 20, who is serving a life sentence for stabbing grandmother Alison Connolly in Evelyn House, Park South, has had her court fines of £1,320 wiped off and added to her sentence instead.
Magistrates on Tuesday were asked what action they wanted to take regarding Gassman, formerly of Horsham Road, owing court costs of £1,200 and a victim surcharge of £120.
Bench chairman said they would link the fine to her sentence, adding 45 days to run concurrently to her existing sentence.
She was told in December she must serve at least 19 years before she will be considered for parole.
Gassman’s sister Amberstasia, also in her 20s, was sentenced to 12 years for the manslaughter of Mrs Connolly.
