TWO teenagers have admitted assaulting another male.

The two boys, both aged 14, cannot be identified due to a court order protecting their identity.

They came before magistrates sitting in Swindon where they entered guilty pleas to the charge of common assault dating from December 30 of last year.

Ryan Hammond, 18, of Malmesbury Gardens, is also jointly charged with the assault along with the two youths, but entered no plea.

Magistrates adjourned the case until August 9 when the two teenagers will appear in the youth court while Hammond will also appear in court on the same day.

One of the youths was released on unconditional bail, while the other was released on conditional bail to reside as directed by the youth offending team, not to enter Swindon save for court appearances and not to reside in a bed and breakfast.
