SWINDON Supermarine manager Dave Webb will hope his team can continue their good start despite being disrupted at the weekend.

Marine’s home game against Shortwood United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after a heavy downpour.

However, Marine have a perfect chance to get back on track when they travel to North Leigh this afternoon.

Even though his side have remained unbeaten this season, Webbs Wood Stadium boss is under no illusions that his team will be in for a tough time this afternoon.

“I’m expecting a tough game, they had a good win last Saturday when they won 7-1 at Thame United (in the FA Cup) who are one of the top sides in the Hellenic,” said the Marine manager.

“They are free scoring, they have a manager (John Brough) there who won the league last year (with Cinderford Town) and he’s big on organisation and making sure his teams don’t concede goals.

“It’s always a tough game, we went there last year and won and we beat them here too.

“I was pleased with that last year because any team that does the double over North Leigh you’re going in the right direction. “ Chippenham Town manager Mark Collier is expecting a difficult game when Cirencester Town visit Hardenhuish Park this afternoon.

Collier’s team are still unbeaten after a hotly contested 3-3 at St Neots Town on Saturday.

Goals from Matt Taylor, Alan Griffin and Will Richards had put the visitors ahead with five minutes remaining.

However, the Bluebirds were unable to hold on to their 3-2 advantage as the home side snatched a last gasp equaliser.

Despite the disappointment of not holding on for the win, Collier has drawn plenty of positives ahead of today’s visit of Cirencester.
