A FAMILY friend set up a vigil in Becky’s memory outside the Swindon Advertiser’s offices on Wednesday.
Sharon Thomas, 45, who grew up in Walcot, said she wanted to ensure that Becky’s memory was not overlooked during the case.
Although she didn’t meet Becky in person she said she knew the family and was keen that they knew people in the town were thinking of them during this difficult time.
In the dead of night she brought candles and ornaments to the Adver offices on Victoria Road and scrawled “Justice For Becky”
along the window sill for those arriving for work in Old Town to see yesterday morning. She then chalked hearts around the windows and on the pavement.
She returned later yesterday to put down some flowers alongside the tribute.
