A MAD scientist kept crowds entertained during a family fun day in Havelock Square this weekend.
The zany professor rolled into town with his test tubes, lab kit, white coat and bubbling concoctions which entertained a crowd of children.
He unveiled his latest invention, the Brain-O-Matic along with a masterclass in balloon twisting and magic tricks which wowed crowds.
The Professor , real name Damian Pickett, said: I’ve really enjoyed today. I want to wow the crowds, I want them to be amazed and astounded and think how did he do that.
“I’ve brought some robots down today so the children can have a look. There’s also robot decoration and face painting which the kids love.”
Steven Dobson from Pinehurst visited with partner Rose and children Damian, eight and Rita, seven. He asked The Professor to make him a balloon butterfly and said he was delighted with the outcome.
“I think it’s absolutely brilliant. Swindon town centre needs more events like this to keep the children entertained. My little girl loves butterflies so she will love this.
“We’ll definitely be coming down again if there are more events like this.”
