SWINDON’S Jonny May has been included in Eddie Jones’ 45-man elite player squad ahead of the Autumn International series.
However, the 26-year-old, who is still recovering from almost 10 months out with a knee injury, will not form part of the 37 players who will train at Brighton College next week.
May, who has scored seven tries in 19 appearances for England since his international debut in 2012, has yet to feature in any of Jones’ squads, having ruptured a knee ligament in a Premiership match against Harlequins last December.
While May has yet to play for Gloucester this season, it is understood that he has returned to full training and is eyeing up a return to competitive action by the end of next month.
