A PARK North man who had sex with a 14-year-old girl has been warned he is facing a jail term.

James Parker, 34, admitted sexual activity with a child when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court.

He had admitted two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity at an earlier hearing.

Parker, of George Selman Gardens, Twyford Close, admitted the offences over New Year's in 2014 into 2015.

Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to a date to be fixed and released him on bail until then.

He said: "All sentencing options are open: there is probably an inevitability about sentence."
