SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WOOTTON BASSETT ROAD, KINGSHILL, SWINDON
EFFECTIVE FROM 22 TO 30 OCTOBER 2016 FROM 9:30AM TO 3:30PM.

This Order is made to allow carriageway resurfacing works and the effect is to prevent vehicles from proceeding on Wootton Bassett Road between the junction with Redposts Drive and Grosvenor Road inclusive of Westcott Place.

Diversions as follow:
Wootton Bassett Road to Westcott Place closure - traffic to be diverted via Great Western Way, Kemble Drive and Park Lane
Wootton Bassett Road to Kingshill closure - traffic to be diverted via Redpost Drive, Peglars Way, Foxham Way, Blackhorse Way, Croft Road and Bath Road.
Kinghill to Westcott Place - traffic to be diverted via Bath Road, Victoria Road, Crombey Street, Curtis Street, Cambria Bridge Road and Faringdon Road or;
Faringdon Road, Farnsby Street, Commercial Road, Victoria Road and Bath Road.

The Order will come into force on the 22 October 2016 for 12 months but it anticipated the closure will take place from 22 October 2016 until the 30 October 2016 with works taking place from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the weekend and 8am to 6pm on weekday.
