All trains are reported to be at gridlock outside Swindon station following a fatality on the line between Reading station and Twyford.
A passenger contacted the Adver to say he had been stuck for 30 minutes before finally arriving at Swindon station platform.
GWR announced no trains will be leaving Swindon station towards London until further notice while the grid lock is cleared.
The company later announced that the lines were clear again and that trains are now expected to run normally.
Services expected to be running normally to/from London Paddington tomorrow morning. Apologies for disruption experienced via Twyford today.
