WITH 40 years in show business and 30 albums under their belts, Foster & Allen have earned their stripes - and their pensions!
But the Irish duo have no intention to hang up their boots. Not only have they released a new single, Mrs. Brown’s Boys, but they have embarked on a nationwide tour.
The story of Foster & Allen began in the 1970s. After forming their own country band, the musicians decided the act would work better as a duo. At the end of 1978 they released A Bunch of Thyme, which went straight to number one on the Irish charts. They have since sold a whopping 22 million albums worldwide.
Foster & Allen will perform at the Wyvern Theatre on Wednesday, November 2 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £22.50. To book visit swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481.
