A WOMAN was injured and her puppy is missing after a car left a bridge and overturned this morning.
The blue Fiat Punto came off the bridge and flipped onto its roof at around 7am on the B4696 Lydiard Plain.
A woman is said to have suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to the Great Western Hospital for treatment.
A four-month Jack Russell dog named Peanut was reported to be trapped in the boot but no trace of the animal could be found at the scene.
