A FORMER police officer is to face trial by judge and jury accused of sexually abusing two young girls.
Michael Inskip, 63, pleaded not guilty to four allegations of indecent assault of a child under 16 when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Inskip is said to have molested the first girl between January 1988 and January 1994.
He denied three multi-incident counts alleging different forms of abuse, each said to have taken place on at least five occasions.
The fourth charge relates to another youngster who he is said to have molested on at least five occasions in July 1991.
Inskip, of Boundary Close, Stratton St Margaret, denied all the charges and was released on conditional bail to Monday, July 3, when he is due to face trial.
