SUPPORTERS of the Brighter Futures Appeal will have the chance to do so in their finery later this year with the return of the Black and White Ball.
Being held once again at the Swindon Marriott in Old Town, the event will take place on October 7.
Black, white and gold formal wear is the dress code at the glamorous event, which includes an arrival drink, a three-course meal, live music and a disco as well as a raffle and auction.
Brighter Futures fundraising manager Chloe Thomas urged people to snap up tickets for the glittering evening. She said: “It is a great way for us to do something a bit more informal rather than a run or a bike ride, and everybody gets to dress up in their finery.
“It’s also an opportunity for us to invite former cancer patients along to talk about their experiences, and how having a radiotherapy unit in Swindon would make all the difference to them.”
Tickets costing £40 per person are on sale now. Call 01793 605631 or email fundraising@gwh.nhs.uk. Companies can also sponsor a table of 10 for their staff members, sponsor the event or donate a raffle or auction prize.
